About Pocket Diary

Pocket Diary is a windows-based application used for managing diary entries, daily journals, or even class notes electronically. Several features are included in the package to help manage your entries across different times of the day, month, or year.

If you've tried to keep a diary of your daily live experiences but have failed because of the inconveniences of paper and pen, then perhaps Pocket Diary is your solution. On the other hand, you may be looking for something helpful for managing class notes on your laptop. Pocket Diary can be used for a variety of things.

Yes, there are other "electronic diary" programs in the computer world, but what makes Pocket Diary so different than its competition?

  • Simplicity - sometimes programs can get carried away with their features; Pocket Diary has an organized user interface that is practical and easy to understand
  • Compactness - compression algorithms are used to compress your "diary booklets" saving you as much hard drive space as possible; you will also find that Pocket Diary is a small download, yet other programs that offer the same features--if not less--are 10, 20, or even 50 times bigger
  • Speed - indexing, multi-threading, and buffering routines have been implemented to make accessing your diary entries quick
  • Security - a unique scrambling algorithm is utilized for encrypting your data, so that other people will not be able to access your data without the password
  • Inexpensiveness - unfortunately, Pocket Diary is not free, but obtaining the fully licensed version is cheap and costs only the fraction of what other programs charge

Please see the Licensing section for more information on additional features and licensing.
