"Development paused."
Quick Album has been struggling to keep up with
the "free" competition that has come by since its first
release. Customers have been expressing their opinions,
that this application is
"too complicated" for an average computer user in today's market.
(We'd like to think the opposite,
but with all the new and free 3-step wizards,
it would seem our customers make a valid point)
Therefore, more emphasis shall be placed on simplifying the
interface in the future, hopefully making Quick Album more comfortable
to use for a larger variety of customers.
Quick
Album will instead be advertised as an image publishing program geared
towards slightly-above-average users. (Not that the application is
actually that difficult to use, but against thosands of
free programs, people have a tendency to lose
interest too easily) On the flipside, Quick Album proudly offers
a unique set of features that most programs do not provide in
a single package. (Namely, streaming media and the customizable web
kits) Resources
will be focused on marketing as opposed to creating the
next version for the time being.

Quick
Album v1.1 already in the works!
Within
3 days of Quick Album's first public debut, people have already sent in
some interesting ideas and suggestions. (Please keep them coming!) With
that being the case, v1.1 will be coming shortly. Possibly within the
following week!
The
core documentation was missed in the first release. This will definitely
be fixed in v1.1. In the meantime, please feel free to post your questions
in the Quick
Album Message Forum. Please keeping sending in your feedback and suggestions
so that Quick Album can keep improving!

Quick
Album v1.0 released! Finally, Quick Album
has made its way towards the first public release and is available for
download. A special thanks to all the people who participated in the testing
phase, for all their hard work, patience, and helpful suggestions.
Several, unplanned features
made their way into v1.0, including support for streaming video and streaming
audio in web albums! But.. there is still much more planned for Quick
Album's future. This is merely the beginning! Future versions are scheduled
to offer better documention, an even more improved user interface, and
of course more and more features. Stay tuned for further progress.
* Feel free to stop by
the Message
Forum to ask questions, make suggestions, and discuss the program
with other Quick Album patrons!
